Actress Kiara Advani recently found herself at the center of controversy after posting about her collaboration with choreographer Jani Master in connection with the song "Dhop" from the upcoming Ram Charan starrer ‘Game Changer’. The backlash arose when Kiara initially included Jani Master’s name in her Instagram caption, appreciating his choreography. However, she has since edited the post, removing his mention following criticism for associating with a public figure facing serious legal allegations.

The issue stems from allegations against Jani Master, who was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act earlier this year. A former female employee accused him of rape and mental harassment, alleging that the incidents occurred when she was 16 years old. The charges have sparked widespread outrage, and many questioned Kiara’s decision to acknowledge the choreographer in her post.

Kiara’s original caption read, “I remember seeing @alwaysjani master’s choreography and thinking, how are we going to do this, but that’s the beauty of our job — always learning something new.” The mention of Jani Master prompted an immediate backlash on social media, with users accusing the actress of being tone-deaf to the serious accusations against him.

In response, Kiara quietly updated her caption, removing Jani Master’s name entirely. While she did not issue a public statement, the move is being seen as an acknowledgment of the criticism and an effort to distance herself from the controversy

The incident has overshadowed the release of "Dhop," a track that was meant to be a major highlight for Game Changer, a pan-India project directed by Shankar Shanamugham. Despite its psychedelic visuals and unique vibe, the song has struggled to capture the audience’s attention, with much of the focus shifting to the controversy surrounding Kiara’s post.

‘Game Changer’ has huge expectations from the audiences as it is helmed by the visionary Shankar and scripted by the talented Karthik Subbaraj.
